Associate Optometrist
Due to the continued growth of this practice, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to further develop your professional career. You will work along side a committed, enthusiastic, friendly team of three other Optometrists and qualified dispensing staff. This position will allow you to practice to the full extent of your clinical training - you will be regularly challenged with a diverse range of eye conditions such as iritis, retinal detachment, HSV, foreign bodies, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, strabismus - and much more. We have a cohesive and supportive Optometric team, actively working together in case management when required. Practising in this sort of environment will make you want to go to work each day!! Requirement We are looking for a proactive, motivated Optometrist with a desire to achieve their professional potential and have real impact on their patients and work team. The primary focus of the role will be consulting, however dependent on experience and desire, the newly appointed Optometrist will be given the opportunity to participate in practice management and leadership to a level at which they feel comfortable. This participation may be in areas such as marketing/advertising, staff education, clinical direction and developments, financial management, implementation of business plan, stock purchasing and inventory control. All optometrists at our practice are expected to participate in continuing education to the minimum level as required for membership of the OAA. Additional CE in areas of particular interest is strongly encouraged and our salary packaging and leave entitlements reflect the importance we place on professional education and development. Benefits Excellent salary package will be commensurate with experience. We envisage a salary package range of $95,000 to $130,000. Your package will include:
