Managing Optometrist
Due to the continued growth of this practice, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to further develop your professional career. You will lead a committed, enthusiastic, friendly team of three other Optometrists, 2 experienced and qualified dispensers and 3 ancillary dispensing staff. This position will allow you to practice to the full extent of your clinical training as well as using your management skills to maintain, enhance and grow current practice operations. Requirement We are looking for a proactive, motivated Optometrist with a desire to achieve their professional potential and have real impact on their patients and work team. Minimum experience of 5 years is essential. Practice management experience will be an advantage. The position will involve consulting, practice management and leadership. Your management role will include clinical direction and developments, business development, financial management, marketing/advertising and human resource management. All optometrists at our practice are expected to participate in continuing education to the minimum level as required for membership of the OAA. Additional CE in areas of particular interest is strongly encouraged and our salary packaging and leave entitlements reflect the importance we place on professional education and development.
